How this site handles your data.

Overview

Ironstrike AI runs a small first-party analytics beacon that I built and operate myself. There are no ad networks, no third-party trackers, and no advertising SDKs anywhere on this site. I don't sell your data, to anyone, ever.

What gets recorded when you visit

Loading a page on this site sends a few things to that collector: the page you're on, the page that referred you here, roughly where you are (country, region, and city, derived from your IP address by Cloudflare's network, not GPS or any device permission), your browser and device type, your screen size, and your connection type. It also records how you interact with the page: clicks, how far you scroll, and how long you're actively on it.

What it never touches

The beacon never reads the contents of any input, textarea, or form field on this site, and it never records keystrokes. If it notices you focused or left a field, that's all it knows, never what you typed into it.

Returning-visitor ID

Your browser stores a random ID, in local storage, not a cookie, so the count of new versus returning visitors is real instead of guessed. That ID only works on this site: it's unreadable by any other site, including my other projects, and it carries no name or contact details.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the beacon honors it: it still counts the visit, but it does not create or read that returning-visitor ID, so you're never tracked as a repeat visitor.

The "Get in touch" form

This is separate from the analytics beacon above. If you submit that form, its contents, your message and whatever contact details you include, are emailed to me so I can respond. That's the only use.

Who sees this

Nobody but me. It's stored in a private database I control and is never exposed on a public page or shared with any outside company. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no data brokers.
